ADA Cosmetics’ exciting new partnership with Shanghai-based brand handhandhand will make its international debut at Hotel & Shop Plus.

Founded by three visual designers in 2017, handhandhand is a unique, 100% Chinese fragrance brand with a commitment to continuous creativity and connection. Its candles, home fragrances, perfumes and body care products are designed to engage the senses, and will soon be joined by an exclusive hotel amenities collection, created in partnership with ADA Cosmetics.

Introducing ADA Atelier – a unique creative tool for bespoke amenities

Hotel & Shop Plus will offer the first opportunity for hoteliers in the region to discover ADA Cosmetics’ game-changing new customisation service, ADA Atelier. This innovative and easy-to-use creative tool enables the configuration of a bespoke cosmetics line to perfectly complement a hotel’s brand identity.

The process begins with the selection of signature fragrance for the collection. ADA Atelier then offers the choice of three world-leading dispenser systems, each in vibrant, personalised colours, while a customised label completes the unique end result.

The new service covers a wide choice of products, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. All are developed according to the highest sustainability standards, with ADA Cosmetics being the only company in the hotel amenities industry whose entire product portfolio is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver.

100% hygiene meets world-class sustainability in latest dispenser innovation

Pump dispensers are preferred by many hoteliers. However, standard models currently on the market may pose a significant safety risk to guests – who rank hygiene as one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay.

A comprehensive study by the renowned German hygiene institute Rhine-Waal found bacterial contamination inside two thirds of the pump dispensers its researchers examined. The source of the bacteria was found to be biofilm from standing water, which is drawn into the dispenser when the pump head is activated. Once inside, the biofilm continues to grow exponentially.
